Product Basics

1. What materials are the shade sails made of, and what’s the difference?

We offer two premium types: 1) HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene)​ fabric, known for maximum durability, fade & mold resistance, and a breathable knit. 2) Polyester​ fabric with a waterproof coating, known for vibrant color and a smooth, structured look.

2. Are they waterproof?

Our Polyester​ shade sails have a waterproof coating suitable for light to moderate rain. Our HDPE​ sails are water-permeable (breathable) to prevent pooling; they provide sun protection but are not fully waterproof.

3. How much UV protection do they offer?
Both provide excellent UV protection. Our HDPE sails block up to 95% of harmful UV rays.
4. Can they withstand wind?

HDPE​ sails are built for heavy-duty, harsh conditions. Polyester​ sails are designed for seasonal/temporary use and are not intended for permanent high-wind installations. Proper tensioning is key for all sails.

5. What sizes and shapes are available?

We offer a variety of sizes in triangular, rectangular, and square shapes. Please check the specific product page for available dimensions and configurations.

Shipping & Delivery

1. How long will it take to receive my order?

The time it takes for our customers to receive an order depends entirely on the locale, the shipping method chosen and the date the order was made. We advise customers to take a look at our Shipping Policy page, this contains a breakdown of our shipping methods and how long each will take to deliver the product to you.

Please be aware that the stated delivery times, although often accurate, do vary depending on delays within the postal system. Any delays that occur during transit are entirely down to the postal service in charge of delivering the parcel.

2. How can I track my order?

Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number and a link to monitor your package's journey. You can also log in to your account to view order status.

3. Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship to many countries. Shipping costs and times will be calculated at checkout.

Installation & Hardware

1. Is installation easy? Do I need special tools?

Yes, installation is straightforward. Basic tools are needed. We provide a clear installation guide. For optimal results on large sails or in windy areas, we recommend our professional M8 Hardware Kit​ (sold separately).

2. What is included in the M8 Hardware Kit?

The kit includes heavy-duty 304 stainless steel components (turnbuckles, snap hooks, wire rope) for superior strength, adjustable tensioning, and extended reach between distant anchor points.

3. Can I install the sail between trees or far-apart posts?

Yes, especially with our M8 Hardware Kit, which includes stainless steel wire rope designed to safely extend the installation reach.

Care, Returns & Support

1. How do I clean and maintain my shade sail?

Gently clean with mild soap and water. Avoid harsh chemicals. For specifics, please refer to the care instructions included with your product.

2. What is your return policy?

We offer a 30-day return policy on all unused items in their original packaging.  We cannot accept returns on used Shade Sail or Install the accessories for safety and sanitation reasons. Initiate a return by [email protected] our support team.

3. My Shade Sail arrived damaged. What should I do?

We rigorously quality-check all products, but defects can rarely happen. Please contact our After-Sales Support team immediately at [email protected] with your order number and photos of the issue. We will swiftly send a replacement or provide a refund.
